The Room of 2030

In 2030, decisions don't wait for the room.

AI flags risks and models paths before the meeting starts. Teams don't convene to make decisions; they convene to own them.

But the room still resists. Teams go quiet in ways that aren't calm. They agree in ways that aren't real.

Task anxiety doesn't disappear because an algorithm is right — it goes underground. It turns into workarounds, quiet non-compliance, and Change Theatre: succeeding at the performance of change while the core remains stubborn.

The room still needs someone who can read what is happening underneath.

That is why I wrote this guide.
